Well, here we are on Halloween. Aubree went through three costume changes. She was Snow White when we went trick or treating and when we got home she was Sleeping Beauty and finally Hannah Montana. She was Hannah Montana for three more days.....she slept in the darn thing. I don't get it, she has never even watched Hannah Montana. But the kicker of the night is when Daddy showed up as her prince. Yes, JD bought a Prince costume 20 minutes before we went trick or treating and wore a purple velour thing, and wow was Aubree excited. We had fun. At this point she thinks Halloween is everyday and dresses up everyday as something new. But I think that just comes with the territory of a 3 1/2 year old when all she wants to do is play dress up. I used to be that mom at the store that laughed at parents who brought their child to the store with some silly outfit/costume on and I am officially "that" mom. Yes, she did go to several stores and a restuarant as Hannah Montana. They feel so important when they are dressed up regardless of what they are wearing because someone always is telling them how good they look. So why not dress up, maybe I should give it a try. LOL
